So, love people use things makes sense if you switch it around. Love things use people does not sound right, but lots of people do it. I love my car, my house, my school, my laptop, my cellphone. who hasn't heard someone say one of these things. Marketing tries to get you to believe that if you just have that car you will be happy or that car will get you that girlfriend and then you will be happy. The truth is things don't make you happy in themselves. Maybe the experience you have using these things will make you happy while you use these things, but there is no magic happy ingredient inherent in things.
